Tyler Joe Sourjohn, 25, of Checotah, Oklahoma passed away on Saturday, July 18, 2020. He was born June 19, 1995 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma to Jerry Don and Karen Sue (McBee) Sourjohn.
Tyler grew up and lived in Checotah the majority of his life. As a child, Tyler always had a big warm smile on his face and as he grew up he still held that smile. He made sure everyone in the room was smiling as well. He adored all seven of his nieces and nephews. He loved to have them over. He would always sneak up behind them and everyone else and growl real loud to scare them and make them laugh, he got that from his dad. Tyler’s mom was his best friend aside from his pet raccoon Maylee. He loved to play pool with his big brothers and rough house with his big sisters and cousins. He enjoyed getting the entire family together to go bowling. He will be missed dearly and forever be in our hearts.
Tyler was preceded in death by his father; Jerry Don Sourjohn and grandmothers, Mary Ann Hall and Ada Almeda Jones. He is survived by his mother, Karen Sue Sourjohn; his brothers and sister, David Lee Arnett and Amanda Lawson of Tahlequah, Christopher Don Sourjohn and Alexandra Castleberry of Muskogee, Joshua Ryan Sourjohn of Broken Arrow and Destiny Rae Sourjohn and Eugene Briski of Coweta, Veronica Sourjohn and Eric Sheridan of Checotah; nieces and nephews, Jeannie Arnett, Janie Arnett, McKenzie Sourjohn, Blaze Sourjohn, Quinndolyn Turney, Axel Briski and Jeydon Sourjohn.
