Theresa Ann (Carpenter) Tuchek

Theresa Ann Tuchek, 91, of Checotah, passed away Thursday, July 11, 2024.

She was born September 7, 1932, in Omaha, Nebraska, the daughter of Cecil Wesley Thaddeus Carpenter and Anna Martha (Dakiniewicz) Carpenter.

Theresa graduated from Austin High School in 1950.

Theresa was employed by Mankato Citizens Telephone Company as a Telephone Operator for approximately 26 years before her retirement.

She enjoyed reading books in her free time.

Survivors include her sons, John Tuchek and his wife Maria of Checotah, Oklahoma and Tim Tuchek and his wife Sarah of Saint Peter, Minnesota; grandchildren, Lincoln Tuchek, Olivia Tuchek and Timmy Tuchek and several great grandchildren; sisters, JoAnn Heyne of Texas and Rita Wiebold of Nebraska.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Joseph Carpenter and Raymond Carpenter.
