Teresa G Stevens

Teresa Grey Stevens, 57, of Muskogee, Oklahoma, passed away on Monday, April 10, 2023. She was born on July 20, 1965, the daughter of  Phillip Hardin Stevens and Shirleen Gayle Weaver in Muskogee, OK. She was fostered by her Aunt Mary and Uncle Dobie Potter. She attended school at Hissom Memorial in Tulsa, OK.
      Teresa's biggest achievement was bringing joy to others, whether it be busing tables at work, working as a PCA at Elara Caring taking care of elderly clients, or volunteering at a local hospital.  
      Teresa collected dolls and enjoyed bowling, reading her Bible, being with friends and traveling.  She also liked watching movies, playing video and table games, watching game shows and working crossword puzzles. Teresa enjoyed shopping, especially for jewelry, plays and concerts, getting gifts, and being pampered. 
      Teresa was a member of Evangelist Temple Baptist Church in Muskogee, OK. Her Lord, her church, her family and friends brought her much joy, as well as her crush, Blake Shelton.
      Teresa was preceded in death by Mary and Grover Potter, Ruth "Ninny" Sorenson, Leah Potter, Tracy Potter and Clint Potter. She is survived by many friends and family, Bob and Marilene Sisco, Mike and MaLaura Hall, Shirley Wood, Jonda Scott, Debra Adams, Laura Cook, Christian Stephenson and many great caregivers and church family. 

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, April 20, 2023 at Evangelist Temple Baptist Church, 115 W Southside Blvd., Muskogee, OK 74401.  Burial will follow at 2:00 pm at Vernon Cemetery in Coweta, OK.
