Stanley Bradley Obituary

Stanley Junior Bradley was born in Washington on February 21, 1932 and entered into eternal rest February 18, 2021 in Checotah, Oklahoma. Stan was born to Henry Bradley, who immigrated from Poland, and Mildred Mae Bollinger from Ohio. He was one of 5 children.

Stan served in the Korean War, and worked most of his life as a self-employed welder, and oil mill worker. He married Alta Lee Warren in 1954 and moved to Chowchilla, California, where they lived until the early 1980’s. Stan & Alta retired to Checotah, Oklahoma, where they lived surrounded by their daughters and grandchildren.  Their lives were devoted God and to their family.

Stan is survived by his daughter, Linda Reid and her husband, David, who Stan thought of as a “son”; grandchildren; April Woodward, David “Monker” Reid, Stephen Lange, Darrell Lange, Kyle Adkins, 8 great-grandchildren; sister and brother; Lela Belle and Louis Johnson, many nephews and nieces,  cousins, and friends.

Stan was preceded in death by his loving wife, Alta Lee (Warren) Bradley, two daughters; Sandra Kelly and Debra Lange, parents; Henry and Mildred, brother; Franklin D., sisters; Helen Unger, Betty Allen, Laura Schoonever.

Stan enjoyed fishing, estate sale shopping, going to the rodeo, playing horseshoes, dominos, taking care of his property, traveling in their motorhome, and spending time with family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but we rejoice knowing he is in Heaven with Jesus and loved ones for eternity.
