Shirley Lorain Fowler, 73, of Paris, Texas passed away Friday, February 10, 2023. Shirley was born on June 10, 1949, in Muskogee, Oklahoma, the daughter of Carl Eugene and Ruth Carrie (Clark) Webster. Shirley graduated from Muskogee High School in 1967. She then received her Registered Nursing Degree from West Arkansas and worked as a nurse for forty-seven years. Shirley worked for the Jack C. Montgomery VA Center for twenty-two years. She enjoyed traveling and traveled all over the United States working as a traveling nurse.
Survivors include: her husband, Ron Fowler, of the home; her son, Brian Fowler and wife Jessica of Muskogee; siblings, Carl Webster Jr. and wife Paula of Muskogee, Jane Allen and husband Bobby of Muskogee; nieces and nephews, Katie Webster of Muskogee, Shelley Adair and husband Darrell of Ft. Gibson, Darrin Allen and wife Renee of Oktaha, Brett Allen and wife Terra of Muskogee, David Fudge and wife Dierdre of Oklahoma City, Phillip Fudge and wife Becky of Melissa, Texas and Jannel Wollscheid and husband John of McKinney, Texas; grandchildren, Grayce, Haeden and Kelsey. She is preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Amanda Renee, nephew, Damon and a sister, Peggy Fudge.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, February 18, 2023, at the Fairview Baptist Church of Muskogee with Chaplain D.J. Harris officiating. Services are under the direction of Hunn Funeral Home & Cremation Service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Shirley's name to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
