Sheral May (Williams) Whisenhunt

Sheral May Whisenhunt, 70, of Checotah, passed away Wednesday, October 23, 2024.

She was born December 25, 1953 in Berkeley, California, the daughter of Robert E. Williams and Beverly L. (Baltzley) Williams.

Sheral graduated high school in Des Moines, Iowa.  She was employed as a US Postal Worker.

She married Jeffery W. Whisenhunt on October 15, 2007 in Nebraska.

Sheral enjoyed crocheting, gardening and loved receiving flowers from Jeff.  She especially cherished taking care of her family.

Survivors include her husband, Jeff of the home; daughters, Kelly Jo Stevens of Checotah, LaTisha Stevens of Tulsa and Jenifer Fenimore of Iowa; sister, Pamela Hendrichs of Broken Arrow and Julie Keifer of Florida; brothers, David Davis and Mark Williams of Iowa; grandchildren, Jeffrey Eggleston, Kelsey Coles and Kierstin Allen all of Iowa and 9 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Beverly Williams; brothers, Charlie Williams, Lenny Williams and Leonard Davis; sister, Melissa Williams; grandchildren, Kurtis Gustaveson and DJ Parker.

A Memorial Service for Sheral will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, November 2, 2024 at Hunn Funeral Home & Cremation Service Chapel, 211 W. Okmulgee St., Checotah, OK 74426.
