Sandra Edith "Sandy" Cole, 86, of Muskogee, Oklahoma passed away on Thursday, August 31, 2023. She was born on January 27, 1937 the daughter of Harold and Nulma (Bagley) Copeland in San Francisco, California.
While in California, Sandy attended San Jose State University and graduated summa cum laude, with a Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology. She began a career as a Medical Tech Supervisor at Mills Memorial Hospital that spanned 11 years. Then she worked as an Accounts Representative at Northwest Radiological Association where she stayed 14 years. Sandy moved to Federal Way, Washington where she owned and operated Sandy's Pets, a family business, for about seven years.
Sandy was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She loved to play Pinochle and Poker and belonged to a Bridge Club. She also enjoyed reading.
Sandy was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Nita Willert and daughter, Karen Jordan. She is survived by daughter, Terri Mannon of Gore, Oklahoma; granddaughter, Amber (Jim) Mannon-Johnson of Ft. Gibson; grandson, Brenton Mannon of Gore; granddaughter Brittany (Brad) Mannon-Russell of Port Hueneme, California; granddaughter, Sarah Mannon of Gore; daughter, Kimberly (Steve) Pierce of Auburn, Washington; grandson, Joshua (Melanie) Pierce of Bonney Lake, Washington;
granddaughter, Jessica Pierce of Auburn, Washington; granddaughter, Sarah Pierce of Puyallup, Washington; grandson, Jacob (Ashlee) Pierce of Bonney Lake, Washington and granddaughter, Cassandra Pierce of Puyallup, Washington; step-son, Scott Cole of Salt Lake City, Utah; six great grandchildren; sister, Sharon Uriate of Las Vegas, Nevada; Karen's children, granddaughter, Destiny Jordan of Edmond, Oklahoma, grandson, Trenton Jordan of Tahlequah, Oklahoma and grandson, Clayton Jordan of Muskogee, Oklahoma and nephew Jeffrey Uriate of Austin, Texas.
