Ronald Beaver

      Ronald Beaver, 88, of Checotah, Oklahoma passed away on December 25, 2023, at Cornerstone Hospital in Muskogee. He was born on September 10, 1935, in Texanna, Oklahoma, to Winfred Beaver and Mae (Braxton) Beaver. Ronald attended school at Lindsey Chapel in Texanna, Oklahoma. Ronald and Doris Laughlin married on April 15, 1954, in Eufaula, Oklahoma. He worked in law enforcement approximately 30 years. Ronald enjoyed hunting and spending time with his family and friends.  
      He was preceded in death by his parents; and children, Michael Vance Beaver, Kathy Davis and Gene Beaver. Ronald is survived by his wife, Doris Beaver of Checotah; grandsons, Joe Mike Beaver of Eufaula, Tim Davis, Greg Davis and Ron Beaver all of Broken Arrow; granddaughters, Charlotte Beaver of Checotah, Margaret Beaver of Broken Arrow and Toni Beaver of Eufaula; two great grandsons, Junior Beaver and Jeremy Beaver of Eufaula and several other great grandchildren.
      Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Monday, January 1, 2024, at Hunn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 2, 2024, at First Freewill Baptist Church in Checotah. Inurnment will be in Greenlawn Cemetery at a later date.
