Rita Gail Propps

  Rita Gail Propps, 61, passed from this life September 2, 2021. Rita was born March 2, 1960, in Cordell, Oklahoma to Lowell and Ila (Dansby) Propps.

Rita graduated from the Eisenhower high school in Lawton, Oklahoma.  She was a collector of everything, especially anything related to Mickey Mouse and Elvis Presley.  She had over 200 Beanie Babies in her collection.   

Even though Rita was disabled most of her life, she cared for her mentally challenged friend for over 20 years.  She was a loving person with a big heart.  Her best friend was her mother.

Rita was preceded in death by her father, Lowell Propps.  She is survived by her mother, Ila Propps of Fort Gibson; sister, Janie Lloyd and husband Jack of Fort Gibson; nieces, Shannon Lloyd and children, Avery, Conner and Lucas of Fort Gibson and Tarra Lloyd and children, Colton and Jackson of Fort Gibson.

 A private family memorial is planned for a date to be determined.  Friends may leave condolences on the website: www.hunnfuneralhome.com.  Arrangements are under the direction of Hunn Funeral Home, Checotah, Oklahoma.
