Quincy Foster, 92, of Muskogee, passed away on April 25, 2020 at St. Francis Hospital Muskogee. He was born March 18, 1928, to Frank and Lucy (Taylor) Foster in Peggs, Oklahoma where he attended a country school. Quincy married Thelma Hull in Tahlequah on December 7, 1956. He worked as a delivery driver at Griffin’s over 25 years before working in coconut the last few years he was there. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and was crazy about his grandchildren. Quincy was a Cub Scout and Boy Scout leader. He spoke fluent Cherokee.
He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Vernis Lynn Foster and five sisters
Quincy is survived by his wife of 64 years, Thelma of the home; son, Kevin and his wife Rose of Muskogee, Oklahoma; four grandchildren, Amber, Ashley, Linda Kay, and Kevin Lynn; three great-grandchildren, Dru, Cara, and Jay; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A private family memorial service is planned.
