Phyllis “Annette” Hill, 64, of Harrison, Arkansas, passed away Monday, April 7, 2025.
She was born September 12, 1960, in Claremore, Oklahoma, the daughter of Mose July and Betty Ann (Deere) July.
Annette graduated from Booker T. Washington High School in 1978. She worked as a seamstress and was a homemaker.
Annette married Siah Leo Hill Jr. and he preceded her in death in 2021.
She enjoyed squirrel watching, cheering on the Dallas Cowboys, and spending time with her grandchildren. She was an avid softball player and coached by her dad.
Survivors include her son, Nicholas Hill and his wife, Deanna of Eufaula, Oklahoma; a daughter, Stacie Thrasher and her husband, Kyle of Midwest City, Oklahoma; her grandchildren, Ian Nicolas Hill, Raven Thrasher, Kalen Strunk, Lucas Strunk and Brooklynn Strunk; her siblings, Cynthia Coyle of Sperry, Oklahoma, Marilyn July, Cathy Sanchez, Randy July and his wife, Rita, and Patti July all of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Emil George July of Hominy, Oklahoma and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents and a granddaughter, Cobi Siah Hill.
Visitation for Annette will be held from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Thursday, April 10, 2025 at Hunn Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Checotah.
A Celebration of Annette’s Life will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, April 11, 2025 at Deep Fork Hillabee Baptist Church in Checotah, Oklahoma with Mr. Shawnee Harper officiating.
Interment will follow at McIntosh Family Cemetery in Eufaula, Oklahoma.
Pallbearers will be: Jason Drywater, Justin Drywater, John Drywater, Joseph Harry, James Harry, Darin Barnoskie and Nathaniel Grayson.
