Orvil Mann

Orvil Vance Mann was born January 14, 1942 to Wesley and Thelma (Stacey) Mann in Checotah, Oklahoma.  He went to his heavenly home on July 6, 2021 surrounded by his family.
      Orvil married the love of his life, Judith Ann Ott, on October 18, 1963.  Together they owned and operated several fence companies with the last one being Mann's Pioneer Fence Company until his retirement in 2007.  They also owned and operated H & R Block until 2005.
      Orvil was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Judith, daughter, Valarie Kay Mann, brothers, Wesley Jr., Larry, and the Mann twins; and his second wife, Elaine Hollingshed Mann.
      He is survived by son, Orvil Dale and wife Kellie of Checotah and daughter, Shannon Lynn Mann of Checotah; six grandchildren, Candace of Morgantown, WV, Brandi (Danny) of Broken Arrow, OK, Andrew (Jessica) of Broken Arrow, Tyler (Ashley) of Checotah,  Bentlee (Maja) of Oklahoma City, and Brandon of Checotah; 16 great grandchildren and one on the way which was his babies.  He also had several nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.
      Visitation will be 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, July 8, 2021 at Hunn Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, July 9, 2021 at First Freewill Baptist Church in Checotah.  Interment will follow in Green Lawn Cemetery.
