NANCY ANN (Kassel) WIDDIFIELD

Nancy Widdifield, 86, of Checotah, Oklahoma, passed away on Friday, May 5, 2023.  She was born in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, on November 23, 1936, to Robert Oliver Kassel and Mabel Mary Gladish.  
      Nancy retired from Tinker Air Force Base as a jet engine mechanic.  She was the first female jet engine mechanic at Tinker.
      Nancy enjoyed china painting and gardening.  
      She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, James E. Widdifield on May 23, 1979 and R.G. Allison on January 13, 2021. Nancy is survived by three daughters, Jean Ann Widdifield and Gary Curtis of El Reno, OK, Robin Kennedy of Oklahoma City, OK, and Christie Sprong and her husband Don of Oologah, OK and one granddaughter, Alyssa Morris and her husband Zackariah of Checotah, OK.
      The family would like to extend a special thank you to Complete Hospice Care and to Nancy's granddaughter, Alyssa Morris for her two years of dedicated care.
