Mildred Geraldine McCauley

Mildred Geraldine McCauley, 90, of Checotah, Oklahoma, passed away Sunday, April 11, 2021, at the OSU Medical Center in Tulsa.  Mildred was born on July 26, 1930, in Dallas, Texas, the daughter of Hershel and Buena (Beaty) Stinson.  On July 26, 1947, Mildred married E.S. McCauley.  They were married for 70 years and 10 months before E.S. preceded her in death.  Mildred taught Sunday School for several years in Texas.  She was a member of the Lindsey Chapel Baptist Church.  Mildred enjoyed cooking, writing letters to her pen pal in Switzerland, and spending time with her family.  
Survivors include:  her grandchildren, Danny Price and wife Jackie of Checotah, Brandi Hale of Muskogee, Jennifer Hall and husband Robert of Rowlett, Texas; great grandchildren, Samantha, Matthew, Chase, Hayden, Richie, and Trinity; and her great great grandchildren, Keven, Kase and Sasha. She is preceded in death by her parents, Hershel and Buena Stinson; her husband, E.S. McCauley; her daughter and son in law, Linda and Dewayne Hall; one brother and two sisters.
