Michael Alan Hood

 Michael Alan Hood, 65, of Hitchita, Oklahoma died Thursday, March 11th, 2021 surrounded by his family and loved ones at Solara Speciality Hospital in Muskogee.  He was born October 21st, 1955 in Oklahoma City to Joe and Lucille (Peterson) Hood.  Michael worked as a plumber.
      Michael married Brenda Adams on July 2, 1976 in Hitchita at his parents home before starting their family in 1979.
      He was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Hood, daughter, Amanda Hood, brother, Ricky Joe and his parents.
      Michael is survived by his daughters, Emily Pierce and husband Andy of Council Hill and Sarah Hood-Gardner and husband Travis of Idaho; sons, Michael Hood of Mounds and Scott Hood of Hitchita; sisters, Gaye Thompson of Eufaula and grandchildren Haley, Megan, Tayler, Kodi, Gannon, Archer, Scott Jr., Maddie, and Travis Jr.
      Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at First Baptist Church in Hitchita.  Interment will follow in Council Hill Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Michael Hood, Scott Hood, Andy Pierce, Reg Thompson, J.D. Finley and Ed Adams.
