Mary Lou (Hudlin) Smith

Mary Lou Smith, 85, passed away on Friday, December 2, 2022 at her home in Checotah, Oklahoma where she had been a resident since 1968.  
      She was born February 26, 1937 in Hulbert, Oklahoma, the daughter of William and Elsie (Warner) Hudlin.  
      Mary was a member of the Baptist faith.
      She was preceded in death by her husband, Owen Smith; grandson, Bruce Smith; brothers, Donald and Calvin Hudlin; sisters Anna Lee Enkey and Martha Colbert.  Survivors are her son, Robert Smith of Checotah; Joy Green and her husband Raymond of Dallas; four grandchildren, Jennifer, Aubrie, Tanner and Kendra; and one great grandchild, Roman.
      In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Breast Cancer Awareness.
