Mary Alicia (Wells) Moore

   Mary Alicia Moore, 69, passed from this life on Wednesday, July 27, 2022, at her home in Wainwright, Oklahoma.  She was born July 15, 1953, to Robert Wells and Lee (Stackhouse) Zumbro in Memphis, Tennessee where she grew up and attended  St. Mary's Catholic School.  Mary came to Oklahoma in 1978.  She fell in love with the state and never left.  
      She was one of the first women to work for Terminix.  She worked as a waitress at Green Parrot in Coweta and Main Street Cafe in Wagoner. 
       Mary met Jerry Moore and they married in 2017.  
       Mary loved riding horses, was a huge John Wayne and Elvis fan and loved her Chihuahuas and had 12 that lived with her.  She could be very outspoken and was loved by her patrons.
       Mary was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Robert Wells; and sister, Pat Lewis.  She is survived by her husband, Jerry Moore of the home; daughter, Rachelle  Parr and her husband Andrew of Jefferson, GA; and three grandchildren, Heather Talley, Cody Parr and Tyler Parr.
       Memorial services will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, July 30, 2022 at Hunn Funeral Home chapel in Checotah.
