Lila Mae Mann is home at last. Her soul is at rest and peace has come to her. She is again reunited with her love, Auston, sitting together fishing on the banks of the Jordan, and not having to fight off any snakes for her special spot. She will now be able to enjoy and watch her family from Heaven. She had a love for gardening, fishing, the Lord and most importantly her family. Lila grew up in a big family with 10 siblings, Dora, Dan, Eustace, Warren, James, Donald, Harold, Junior, Gladys, and Windsor. Some are rejoicing with her today while some are here below missing her glow. She always wanted lots of kids but said God stitched her up backwards. She was blessed with 2 kids, David and Kaye, giving her plenty of grandkids and great-grandkids to spoil. Lila had a fiery personality which gave Auston fuel to light up. And he did...often!
She was preceded in death by her husband, Auston Mann, her daughter, Patricia Kaye Dunback. She is survived by her son, David Mann (Doris Mann); her grandkids, D.J. Mann, Heather Dunback Zimmer (Timothy Zimmer), Gary Wayne Dunback, Jesusica Mann, and Christy Gatlin; and great-grandkids, Savannah, Elaina, Auston, Kaylyn, Leilani, Christopher, and Shelby.
Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 31st and Thursday, September 1st at Hunn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Friday, September 2nd at Hunn Funeral Home chapel.
