Kenneth Hall, 71, of Checotah, Oklahoma, passed away Wednesday, May 1, 2024, at the St. Francis Hospital of Muskogee.
Kenneth was born on July 28, 1952 in Pierce, Oklahoma the youngest child of Simon Peter Hall and Della Viola (Kirby) Hall.
He had four siblings Jane, Carolyn, Charles and Jerry. Throughout Kenneth's life he enjoyed fishing, hunting, farm work and being a mechanic. There was not much he did not know how to do. He had his fair share of pets, livestock and wildlife, but nothing outshines his love for his horse, Silver.
Kenneth married Pamela Thompson and to this union two children were born, Misty Sumlin and Michael Hall. Kenneth had four grandchildren, Savannah Ashley, Ashton Davis (twin girls) Eric Liggins and Brooklyn Thomas. He enjoyed his visits from his great grandkids, Lucille Thomas, Ryker Ashley, Renli Ashley and Josephine Davis.
Kenneth had many friendships around the Checotah area, but one always stood out, Kenneth and Danny Hill. They have been friends since kindergarten. Danny was more like a brother to Kenneth.
Later in life Kenneth focused on his gardening skills, drawing, painting and writing letters. he was always willilng to try a new hobby, but better yet Kenneth by far was the best storyteller one would ever run across. From the whale size bass he caught, to the pumpkin size tomatoes he grew in his garden, he would tell the story with so much excitement.
Kenneth is proceeded in death by his parents, Simon and Della Hall both of Checotah; brothers, Charles Hall of Oktaha and Jerry Hall of New York.
He is survived by his sisters, Jane Stewart (Junior) of Checotah and Carolyn Britt (Ira) of Dewar; children, Misty Sumlin (James) of Choctaw and Michael Hall (Joni) of Checotah; grandchildren and great grandchildren and a host of relatives.
Kenneth lived a full life with some great memories with his family and friends. The family will have a celebration of life in the near future.
