Kelly Jo Stevens

Kelly Jo Stevens, 49, of Checotah, passed away Friday, November 29, 2024 at Saint Francis Hospital in Muskogee, Oklahoma.

She was born September 18, 1975 in Checotah, Oklahoma, the daughter of Patrick Lee Stevens and Sheral May (Williams) Whisenhunt.

Kelly attended North High School in Des Moines, Iowa. 

Survivors include her daughter, Ashley Thorpe; two sisters, Tisha Stevens and Jenifer Fenimore; a nephew, Jeffrey Eggleston; two nieces, Kelsey Coles and Kiersten Allan; three grandchildren, Brandyn, Braidyn, Arabella and her step-father, Jeffrey Whisenhunt.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Dennis “DJ” Parker and Kurtis Gustaveson and a brother, Brian Stevens.

No services have been scheduled at this time.  Hunn Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 211 W. Okmulgee St., Checotah, Oklahoma 74426 is assisting the family.
