Julia Lynn Tooker, 63, passed from this life June 6th, 2022 in Muskogee, Oklahoma.
Julia was born in Redwood City, California on February 1, 1959 to Larry and Caryl (Brown) Chaney. She grew up Palo Alto, California and attended the Palo Alto schools. Julia had six children and reared them in Los Molinos, California.
Julia was mostly a stay-at-home mom but did work outside the home on occasion. She enjoyed cooking, rescuing any kind of animal in need and was very creative. She moved to Checotah, Oklahoma in 2018 to be closer to her children who had relocated to the area. She was extremely loyal to her family and friends. But more than anything else, she loved and adored her grandchildren. Julia courageously battled cancer for a couple of years before she passed away.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Tooker; daughter, Nikki Humphreys; mother, Caryl Chaney; and grandson, Kash Humphreys. Julia is survived by her father, Larry Chaney; sons, Robin Humphreys (Tabatha) of Checotah, Timmothy Humphreys (Tiara) of Checotah, David Tooker (Camille) of Rexburg, Idaho, Christopher Tooker (Jennifer) of St. Charles, Missouri, William Humphreys (Selina) of Checotah; daughters, Desirae Gregory (Dustin) of Vancouver, Washington, Danielle Humphreys (Tomas) of Checotah, Jennifer Tooker (Brian) of Willows, California; brothers, Tom Chaney (Andi) of Camarillo, California, Rick Chaney (Carrie) of Sutter, California, and Gene Chaney of Willows, California; and grandchildren, Maddison, Tristan, Landon, Chase, Dallas, Williow, Balaya, Gabriel, Izabella, Reina, Adalyn, Madalyn, Timothy, Jr., Armando, Charlie, Desirae, Jeremiah, Carrie Rose, Logan, and Mason.
