John Allen Underhill

John Allen Underhill, 85, passed from this life on Tuesday, August 16, 2022, at Countryside Estates in Warner, Oklahoma.  He was born on October 4, 1936, the son of John Burton and Martha L. (Wood) Underhill in Texanna, Oklahoma.  
      John owned Underhill Construction and was an excellent carpenter. He built homes in the Checotah area.  John enjoyed fishing, hunting and bowling.
      He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Misa T. Underhill on June 28, 2019, four sisters, Ruby Fulburten, Thedith McGuire, Marie Weaver and Carolyn Roth; and two brothers, Floyd Underhill and Clarence Underhill . He is survived by one sister, Mary Lavenea Pererdini of Texas; two daughters, Cindy Cox and husband James of Bartlesville, OK and Cathy Roberts and husband Allen of Bartlesville, OK; son, Robert Underhill and wife Stephanie of Tulsa, OK;  four step-daughters, Helen Herron of Broken Arrow, OK, Dian Bell, Linda Creekmore and Misa Mitchell all of Checotah, OK and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
