Jeannice Ann Lockhart, 74, of Checotah, Oklahoma, passed away on October 16, 2024 in Eufaula, Oklahoma. Born on September 19, 1950 in Edmond, Oklahoma, Jeannice spent her life embracing the joys of the outdoors and the company of her family and friends.
A passionate angler and an enthusiastic supporter of the OSU Cowboys, Jeannice's love for fishing and football was only surpassed by her love for playing games with her family. Her hobbies also included taking leisurely rides on her golf cart and engaging in various games, which brought joy and laughter to those around her.
Jeannice leaves behind a loving family: her spouse, Dean Lockhart; her children, Elisha Hopper and husband Jeff, Tricia Schneider and husband Eric, Paul Campbell and wife Kari, and her wonderful grandchildren, Sydney Natale, Brody Campbell and wife Sarah, Garrett Shipp, Rylee Natale, Ryan Natale, and Lindsay Campbell. She is also survived by one brother, Kerry Moore. She was preceded in death by her mother Wilma Spruill and father James Moore, sister Marilyn Young, and brother Terry Sparks, who have left a void in the family previously filled by their presence.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at McNeil's Funeral Services in Mustang, Oklahoma, on November 1, 2024, at 2:00 PM, where family, friends, and those whose lives were touched by Jeannice can gather to honor her memory.
