James Burl Villines

James Burl Villines, 92, of Checotah, Oklahoma, died Wednesday, June 24, 2020.  He was born December 2, 1927 in McIntosh County, Oklahoma to Ed and Effie Humphrey Villines. James was a rancher and worked at Oklahoma Interpack. 

            He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Evelyn Marie Burr Villines; brothers, Coy Lee Villines, Ellis Jay Villines and Murl Dean Villines and sister, Lois Jean Villines Self.

            James is survived by his daughter, Deanna Marie Villines; siblings, Billy Kennith Villines and Deloris Rae Villines McCauley.

            The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday, June 29, 2020 at Checotah Funeral & Cremation Service.  Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday in the Checotah Funeral Service Chapel.  Interment will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.
