Iva M. Tipton

Iva Maureen King Billings Tipton, went to be with the Lord on July 31, 2021 in her home, surrounded by her loved ones.
She was born March 11, 1937 in Beaton, AR to Curtis King & Gertrude Diffee King. Iva moved to Malvern, AR & graduated high school in 1955. In 1958, she married Erby Billings & moved to Muskogee, Ok where they lived & worked on the ranch, together they had one daughter, Vonda Haddock.  Erby went home to be with the Lord in 1995. Iva was employed at Acme Engineering Corp in the Accounting dept for 32 years until she retired in 1999. 
In 2000, she married Dick Salmon of Muskogee & together they enjoyed traveling & camping. After Dick’s death, she moved to Park Hill, Ok in 2015. Three years later, Iva fell for the lead guitar player, Roy F Tipton, next door at Fred’s Barn at Katfish Haven in Keys, Ok; six months later they become husband & wife, they enjoyed serving the Lord together, taking long drives together, spending time with family & playing music with friends, Fred Haddock & Max Beshears.
She is survived by her husband, Roy Tipton; daughter: Vonda Haddock & husband, Gene of Park Hill, Ok.; step children: TJ Tipton & wife, Rhonda of Mena, AR. & Tomi Kirkpatrick & husband, Dean of Hulbert, Ok; sister:  Shirlene  Sellers  of Bryant, AR; & numerous Grandchildren & Great Grandchildren.  Iva is preceded in death by parents: Curtis King & Gertrude Diffee King; twin sister: Eva Werner. brother: Melvin King; husbands: Erby Billings & Dick Salmon and step son: John E Billings.
