Glenna "Lilly" Elaine Coppin, 85, of Porum, passed away on Sunday, June 30, 2024 at her home. Lilly was born on August 19, 1938 in Muskogee, Oklahoma to George E. and Edna (King) Victory. She graduated from Warner High School in 1957. On May 29, 1957, Lilly married Eugene Coppin in Muskogee. They were happily married for forty-four years, before he preceded her in death in 2001. She owned her own concession at several car auctions. Lilly enjoyed picking apples and cherries. She did this every summer for over twenty years in Washington State.
Survivors include: sons: Jimmy Lee Coppin, Eugene Walter Coppin Jr., and Craig Allen Coppin and wife Jane, all of Porum; daughters: Belinda Kaye McDonald, of Muskogee; Peggy Darlene Toney and husband Brian, of Porum; and Christine Elaine Coppin, of Tulsa; brother, James Plug Victory and wife Marion, of Little Rock; sister, Luratta Burrows, of Porum; boyfriend, Farrell Halford, of Porum; ten grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death her parents, George and Edna Victory; husband, Eugene Coppin; daughter, Rhonda; son, Brian (Whitey); one daughter in-law, LouAnn and a brother Sonny Victory.
A funeral service was held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, July 5, 2024 at the Checotah Hunn Funeral Home, 211 W. Okmulgee Ave. Checotah, OK 74426 with Cardell Coppin and Adam Clark officiating.
