Gladys Lillian Whisenhunt Lane

Gladys Lillian Whisenhunt Doshier Lane was born May 31, 1919, in Texanna, Oklahoma to Wiley and Bessie Whisenhunt. She passed from this life November 2, 2016 in Checotah, Oklahoma at the age of 95.
Gladys occupation was as a seamstress for White Stag in Bristow, Oklahoma. She enjoyed gardening, fishing, sewing and making quilts. She had been a member of Texanna Assembly of God Church in Texanna, Oklahoma since 1977.
She is preceded in death by her parents; Wiley Whisenhunt and Bessie Cooper Whisenhunt, first husband; William Elmer Doshier, second husband; James Lane, sons; Jack Doshier, Jimmy Doshier, Ruedell Doshier and Tim Lane, sisters; Hazel Baker, Blanch Reed and Lois Whisenhunt, as well as numerous cousins, aunts and uncles.
Gladys is survived by her son and his wife; Leland and Terri Lane of Checotah, Oklahoma, two daughter-in-laws; Juanita Doshier of Henrietta, Oklahoma and Lona Anderson of Antlers, Oklahoma, a sister; Dorothy Cowan of Henrietta, Oklahoma, many grandchildren, and a host of great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Services will be held Tuesday November 8, 2016, 2:00 PM, at Texanna Assembly of God Church in Texanna, Oklahoma, with Rev. Tim Allen officiating. Interment will follow at Triplett Cemetery, in Texanna, Oklahoma
Pallbearers will be: Barry Barnett, Ronnie Ruth, Terry Cossey, David Clark, and Tob Anderson.
