Faye K. (Stewart) Storm

Faye Kathryn Storm, 94, of Checotah, Oklahoma passed away Friday, August 25, 2023.

She was born October 17, 1928, in McIntosh County to Lee Roy and Nora Angeline (Jamison) Stewart.

Faye attended Central High School in Checotah, Oklahoma from the 1st grade until the 11th grade.  She finished the 12th grade and graduated from Las Cruces High School in Las Cruces, New Mexico.

Faye was a homemaker and she was a member of Walker Avenue Baptist Church in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. 

She married Pony Storm on September 5, 1947 in Rison, Arkansas.  He preceded her in death on January 23, 2006.

Faye enjoyed reading, fishing and camping.  She especially loved spending time with her family and friends.

Survivors include her son, Jerry Storm and his wife, Bobbie of Tulsa, Oklahoma; two daughters, Brenda Storm of Checotah, Oklahoma and Janie Storm of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Pony; two sons, George Edward Storm and Jimmy Joe Storm.

Viewing for Faye will be Monday, August 28, 2023, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Hunn Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 211 W Okmulgee, Checotah, Oklahoma 74426.  Funeral Services will be 10:00 am Tuesday, August 29, 2023 at Hunn Funeral Home in Checotah.  Interment will follow at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, August 29, 2023 at Sunny Lane Cemetery, 4000 SE 29th St., Del City, Oklahoma 73115.
