Evonne Ruth Hubbell, 69, of Checotah, passed away on Tuesday, April 11, 2023, in Muskogee. Evonne was born on September 7, 1953, in Royal Oak, Michigan to Chauncey and Barbara Jean (Reed) Stetson. In 1971, she graduated from Ferndale High School in Ferndale, MI. On February 14, 1992 Evonne married Charles Michael Hubbell in Columbia, Tennessee. She worked at Muskogee Regional Medical Center and Checotah Walmart. Evonne enjoyed knitting, reading, music, dancing and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Evonne is survived by her daughters, Barbara Ogden and husband Scott of Checotah, and Angela Dawn Hubbell of Checotah; brother, David Stetson of Michigan; grandchildren, Jessica Ogden, Alexander Hamm, Callie Ruth Hamm, Courtney Camdyn Hamm all of Checotah, and Wes Hubbell, Scott Hubbell, Stephanie Hubbell, Zack Stinnett and Greg Stinnett all of Tennessee; numerous great grandchildren in Tennessee; and special cousin, Christine Beamer of Florida. She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Hubbell; sons, Michael Shane Hubbell and Brian Christopher Hubbell; parents, Chauncey and Barbara Stetson; brothers, Wallace Stetson and Edward Stetson.
