Esther McCue, 61, died December 26, 2016 in Coweta. She was born on May 21, 1955 in New Castle, Pennsylvania to Walter McCue and Marian Kennedy McCue. Esther moved to Muskogee from New Castle in August of 1980. She worked at Coburn Lens Co. and Grandview Grocery Store. She was an active member of the Muskogee First Church of the Nazarene. She loved serving, working in the kitchen, and helping in any way possible.
Esther was preceded in death by her parents, her older sibling, Diana "Dee" Shira, and her former husband, Harold Stotts. She is survived by sons, Matthew Stotts and fianc, Lauren Inman, and Mark Stotts and wife Vanya; sister Ellen Crager and husband Elvin; nephew Darren Shira and wife Ashley, nieces, Michelle Jalbert and husband, Jeff, Elizabeth Foote and husband Andrew. She enjoyed her 8 great nieces and nephews and a host of friends and family who she touched throughout her life. Esther was also anticipating the birth of her first grandchild in June.
Funeral services will be held at the Muskogee First Church of the Nazarene, located at 2700 S. Peak Blvd. at 1:00 Friday, December 30. A family hosted viewing will be held at Foster-Petering Funeral Home, 904 W. Okmulgee Ave. Muskogee Ok., from 6:00 to 8:00 on Thursday evening. Pallbearers will be Matthew Stotts, Jeff Jalbert, Andrew Foote, De Mashburn, Brandon Clagg, and James Jacobs.
