Elmer "Jr." Le Roy Walker

Elmer Le Roy "Jr." Walker, 56, passed from this life on June 6th, 2022, in Tahlequah, Oklahoma.

Jr. was born in Midwest City, Oklahoma on April 17th, 1966, to Elmer Le Roy and Mary (Craig) Walker.  He grew up in Muskogee attending school there.  He met Teresa McCallum in 1990 and they were later married.  Their union was blessed with four children.  They began and reared their family in Tahlequah.  
 
For many years, Jr. worked in the heating and air industry but also worked as a rock mason, off and on, most of his life.  He loved working with his hands.  If he wasn't working on something mechanical, he was building something.  He loved music and was a huge George Jones fan.

Jr. was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Mary Walker.  He is survived by his wife, Teresa of the home; sons, Timothy Walker (Kimberly) of Tahlequah, Christopher Walker (Jessica) of Tahlequah; daughters, Shannon Pray (Jason) of San Antonio, Texas, Lelia Walker of Park Hill; brother, Owen Walker of Muskogee; sisters, Darlene Applegate (John) of Muskogee, Gloria Walker of Muskogee, Valerie McCallum of Tahlequah, Donna Wineberger (Laney) of Muskogee, Cheryl Pierce (Herman) of Muskogee, Kathy Graves of Muskogee; and 13 grandchildren.

He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
