Edith Ann (Lykins) Hobbs

Edith (Edie) Ann Hobbs, 47, of Canton, Ohio, passed from this life on February 17, 2022, in Warner, Oklahoma.  She was born on January 23, 1975, in Hayfork, California, the daughter of Eldon and Wanice (Rogers) Lykins.  Edith grew up in Muskogee County where she graduated from Muskogee High School. 

Edith met Jessie Hobbs in Warner in 2013. They married in Jackson, Michigan on April 20, 2015, and Edith traveled with Jessie on his job.  In 2016, the couple gave their lives to Jesus Christ.  Prior to Edith's passing, she worked at Fannie Mae Chocolate Factory.  She loved to travel with her husband, enjoyed crafting and painting, riding motorcycles and camping.  Her dogs, Luke and Lucy, were like her kids.  She struggled with health issues over the past two years prior to her passing.
      
Edith was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Allan Scoggins and Ray Dodgin; and sister, Belinda Scoggins.  She is survived by her husband, Jessie Hobbs; sons, Steven Hobbs (Lacey) of Webbers Falls, and Derek Hobbs of Morgantown, WV; brother, Junior Lykins of Muskogee; sister, Melissa Reynolds of Canton, OH; grandchildren, Peyton Hobbs, Easton Hobbs and Rose Hobbs and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, February 28, 2022, at First Assembly of God in Warner with Pastor Josh McElyea officiating.
