Dorothy Mae Noss

Dorothy Mae Noss, 95, passed away Thursday, June 23rd, 2022, in Arlington, Texas. She was born on July 6, 1926, to Ewell Henson and Nettie (Robertson) Berg in Muskogee, Oklahoma. Dorothy graduated from Muskogee High School. She married Joe Noss in Muskogee in1948. Dorothy worked as a registered nurse at the St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  She then worked as a nurse at the VA Hospital in Muskogee for thirty five years. Dorothy had strong Christian beliefs and was a member of Central Baptist Church in Muskogee, where she taught Sunday School, Vacation Bible School and led Bible studies. She always put others first.  Dorothy enjoyed her book club, volunteering for several charities and spending time with her family and friends. 
Dorothy is survived by her son, Dale Noss and wife Mary     of Arlington, TX; grandchildren, Adam Noss, Andrew Noss and wife Mandi, and Taylor Norrid; great grandchildren, Madden Noss, Landry Noss, Logan Noss, Leah Noss, Cailyn Johnson, and Kinley Johnson. She is preceded in death by her parents, Ewell and Nettie Berg, and her husband, Joe.
A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m., Monday, June 27, 2022, at the Greenhill Cemetery with Brother JT Carvell officiating.
