David Allen Teague

 David Allen Teague, 68, passed away Wednesday, August 11, 2021, at his home in Checotah, Oklahoma.  He was born in Stockton, California on July 30, 1953 to Floyd and Nettie (Shelton) Teague. He grew up in Turley, Oklahoma.  David attended Booker T. Washington School, in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  He worked many years in the oil field and retired as a machine operator at Brockway Glass.  
      David lived to fish and enjoyed spending time with family.  Whether inside or outside the church, he loved to worship through singing.  David loved making people laugh with jokes and pranks.  He had a light-hearted look on life.
       He was preceded in death by his father, Floyd Teague; brother, Jimmy Teague and nephew, Thomas Fees.  David is survived by his mother, Nettie Teague; son, Jimmy Teague and wife Nikkee of Checotah; step-sons, Zach Reynolds, Heather Reynolds and Michael Reynolds and wife Kristy, all of Checotah; daughters, Christie Bobo and husband Ron of Checotah and Connie Teague of Checotah; brothers, Eugene Teague and Bobby Shelton; sisters, Barbara Fees and Pam Guffey; grandchildren, Kylie, Cody, Tyler, Haylee, Kobe, Allison, Hayden, Colton, Riggin, Layla, Zeydan, and Eathen; great grandchild, Teagan.
      Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Saturday, August 14, 2021 at Hunn Funeral Home & Cremation Service.  Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 16, 2021 at New Life Center in Checotah with Derek Hanson officiating.  Interment will be at 3:00 p.m. at Rest Haven Cemetery in Sperry, OK.  Pallbearers will be Tyler Bobo, Donny England, Kobe Burkhalter, Cody Burkhalter, Willy Guffey and John Braxton.  Honorary pallbearers are Jason Duncan, Fred Burkhalter, David Porter and Bryan Curtis.
       Funeral service arrangements are under the direction of Hunn Funeral Home & Cremation Service.
