Dan Garvin Obituary
Dan Garvin, 79, of Muskogee, Oklahoma passed away Saturday, November 19, 2016. He was born September 24, 1937 in Pittsburg County, Oklahoma, son of Dan Sr. and Ollie Garvin. On November 27, 1958, he married Loretta Bush at the age of 21 years old. They were married for 57 years at his death.
Dan retired from ONG after 37 years as distribution foreman. He earned the respect and friendship of those who worked with him.
Dan was a devoted husband and father. He enjoyed working in the yard, gardening, and doing home improvements.
Dan and Loretta loved to travel and were able to travel throughout the United States and to France and Italy.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Cecil and wife Alene and sisters Letha Kersh and husband Leon and sister Leola Parker and husband Evert, brother-in-law Dan Black
Survivors include his wife, children, son Derek and wife Pamella, and daughter Kim, brother Jimmy and wife Jackie, sister Mary Jo Black along with numerous nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, and grand-nephews.
