Carrol Wayne Meeks

Carrol Wayne Meeks, 39, passed from this life April 16th, 2022, at his home.  Carrol was born in Muskogee, Oklahoma on November 29th, 1982, and lived his entire life in Muskogee.  He was raised by his maternal grandparents, D.A. and Nellie Meeks.

Carrol worked on lawn mowers, helped his uncle with concrete projects, and was an all around handyman.  He rode his bicycle everywhere he went.  He enjoyed going to the city parks and was a huge fan of George Jones and Dale Earnhart.  Over the years he collected a room full of memorabilia  from both men.  He also enjoyed antiquing and could stay in the antique shops all day long.

Carrol was preceded in death by his mother, Peggy Meeks; grandparents, D.A. and Nellie Meeks. He is survived by his sister, Julie Meeks of Roland, Oklahoma; uncles, Jack Meeks and wife Betty of Muskogee, Frank Meeks and wife Sally of Muskogee, Tim Meeks of Roland; and aunt, Louise Simms and husband Curtis of Porum Landing, Oklahoma. He was loved by his family and everyone who knew him.  He will be deeply missed.

A graveside service will be held at Memorial Park Cemetery, 11:00 a.m., April 22, 2022.  Pastor Michael Hart will officiate.
