Carolyn Woodall Obituary

Carolyn Ann Woodall was born on November 23, 1934 in Braggs, Oklahoma to Irene (Troop) Marlow and Allan Marlow. She passed peacefully from this life on January 1, 2017 in Muskogee, Oklahoma.

Carolyn lived most of her life in Muskogee, Oklahoma. She graduated from Muskogee High School in 1952. In 1953, she married Joel Woodall. They lived briefly in Washington before making their permanent home in Muskogee where Carolyn worked as a supervisor for Brockway Glass Company until her retirement.

A loving wife, mother, and grandmother, Carolyn loved to people watch, travel, and enjoyed listening to music. She especially loved listening to Elvis.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Joel in 1991, her son Jerry in 2009, and her sister-in -law Carol Marlow.

Carolyn is survived by her son, Joel Woodall and wife Rhonda of Daytona Beach, Florida, and a daughter of Tulsa. Also, brothers Ronald Marlow of McAlester, Oklahoma and Tommy and wife Joyce Marlow of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Grandchildren include Erik Szalay and wife Kristin, Kyle Szalay, Lance Woodall, Rachel, Chase, and Tony Woodall, and Colin and Kalin Woodall and twelve great grandchildren.
Carolyn also had special friends, Steve Stephens and Jerry Stephens
A memorial service will be on Monday, January 9, 2017 at 1:00 pm at Bradley Belltower Chapel, with Pastor Cecil Guthrie officiating. Interment will be at Greenhill Cemetery.
