Ann Jones Hale was born December 12, 1934 in Houston, Texas to Milo Walter Jones and Ida Elizabeth Davis Jones. She passed from this life to her eternal home, February 2, 2021 at the age of 86 years old.
Carolyn worked for many years at The Kettle Restaurant. Upon her retirement from there, she worked as a waitress at many different restaurants. She loved making crafts and was well known for making beautiful little cabins and houses out of material. Carolyn had a contagious laugh, however, as the old saying goes "If Momma ain't happy, ain't nobody happy," she had no problem letting you know when she wasn't happy.
She was loved by the staff at Checotah Nursing and Rehabilitation, where she spent her last few years.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ronald G. Hale; son, Senior Chief Thomas E. Hale; and sister, Joy Lynn Murphy. She is survived by her son, Ricky Hale and a host of family and friends.
Carolyn is already, and will continue to be, greatly missed.
