Carolyn Carol Irene Emberton, 75, of Muskogee, Oklahoma, passed away Saturday, February 15, 2025.
Carolyn was born on September 6, 1949 in Muskogee, Oklahoma, the daughter of Herman Raymond and Betty Irene (Carson) Reeves.
She graduated from Tulsa Central High School in 1967.
Carol worked in customer service. She enjoyed classic cars and watching college football.
Survivors include her son, Justin Laird of Checotah; grandchildren, Ben Wilcockson, Raelynn McMurchy, Conner Emberton and Dalton Lanier; numerous cousins and other family and friends; a high school classmate, Betty Bowles and childhood friend, Sharon Tidwell.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Betty Reeves and a brother, Raymond Reeves.
A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m., Thursday, February 27, 2025, at the Hunn Funeral Home Chapel with Dewayne Hammer officiating.
Honorary pallbearers will be Dakota Reeves, Blake Reeves, Gavin Artis, Alex Artis, Sam Langley and Colton Neal.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Hunn Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 211 W. Okmulgee St., Checotah, Oklahoma 74426.
