Carl Standridge Jr. Obituary

Carl Standridge Jr., born May 31, 1949, in Antlers, Oklahoma to Carl Andrew and Lona Lee (Ernest) Standridge, passed this life on January 23, 2025 in Muskogee, Oklahoma with family at his side.

On July 20, 1967, Carl enlisted in the United States Navy.  On June 2, 1972, he was honorably discharged.  After returning home he married Veda Kaye Lane.

Carl would give you the shirt off of his back and always made sure no one was hungry.  He was a hard worker, owning his own skidder and pulp wood truck and he hauled wood for Warehouser Paper Mill.

Carl liked to tinker on cars, lawn mowers and small engine repairs.  He was an avid fisherman and loved to deer hunt.  His most recent enjoyment came from his first great granddaughter, Evelynne Kaye.  He would tell Evelynne that she was papa's princess and that when she got a little bigger, he was going to take her to Walmart and go shopping.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Veda Standridge; his brothers, Billy, Elton and Doug; both of his parents, Carl and Lona Standridge; his sisters, Sherry, Betty, Loretta, Linnie, Fayrene and Anna.

He is survived by his daughter, Crystal and her husband, Roger Michaud of the home; his son, Jason and his wife, Crystal Lane of Warner; a bonus grandchild, Rosie; his grandchildren, Allyson Michaud and fiancé, Caden of the home, Colvin and partner, Kimi Standridge of Ames, Iowa, Desiree Lane and partner, Sammie of Coquille, Oregon, Alexander Lane of Coquille, Oregon and his great granddaughter, Evelynne of the home.
