Calvin Lee Wooten

  Calvin Lee Wooten, 69, of Checotah, died Monday, March 22nd, 2021.  He was born March 27, 1951 in Checotah to Eugene Winfred Wooten and Mildred Zula (Whisenhunt) Wooten.  Calvin attended Checotah High School graduating in 1970.  He and Teri Suanne McCullar married on September 29, 1972.  Calvin worked as a concrete contractor his entire life.  
      He was a 32 degree Mason and Shriner.  He loved to ride horses, shoot guns, hunt arrowheads, rattlesnakes, deer and squirrel.  He enjoyed spending time on Eufaula Lake. 
      He was preceded in death by his father, Eugene Wooten and brothers, Kenneth Gene Wooten and Freddie Dewayne Wooten.
      Calvin is survived by his mother, Mildred Wooten; son Dillon Lee Wooten; daughters, Carly Ann Wooten and Keely Mitchelle Allie Atchley; brother, Jimmy Don Wooten; grandchildren, Madison Welch, Taylor Wooten, Harly Welch, Cadi Shoemake, River Shoemake, Blayze Wooten, Brinlee Wooten, Dylan Wooten, Ashlynn Anderson and Braelynn Anderson; one great-grandchild, Cayson Anderson and ex-wife, Teri McCullar.
