Brendan Edward Emerson

Brendan Emerson, 51, of Warner, Oklahoma, passed away Saturday, August 7, 2021, in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  He was born on November 10, 1969, and was raised by Deward and Tressie Emerson.  He graduated from Checotah High School in 1987.  Brendan had such a sweet disposition and was loved by all.  He loved to be with family and friends.  He loved his grandkids to no end.  Brendan was an avid deer and turkey hunter.  He loved to fish, took joy in gardening and raising his chickens.  He loved his Boston Terriers and made sure they were always taken care of.  Brendan worked as a security guard at the Checotah Casino for ten years.  He was employed at GHS Security Solutions at Georgia Pacific and remained employed until becoming ill.  On May 25, 2012, Brendan married Bonya at Eureka Springs, Arkansas.  If he could talk to Bonya 24/7 he was on the phone with her.  He was loved by so many and will be greatly missed.
Survivors include:  his wife, Bonya, of the home; children, Lane and April Weaver and Blake and Sarah Weaver; grandchildren, Hope Isborn, Avery Weaver and Keagan Weaver.
