Brenda Kay (Givens) Mitchell

Brenda Kay Mitchell, 70, of Muskogee, Oklahoma passed away on Sunday, September 26th, 2021.  She was born on August 14th, 1951 to Marvin Givens, Jr. and JoAnn Nodine Givens in Tahlequah, Oklahoma.

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, Marvin and JoAnn Givens.  She is survived by daughters, Debra Kay Watson and Kris Lynne Quesenberry and husband Jay both of Muskogee; sisters, Marcia Kirk and husband Walter and Linda Hannis both of Muskogee; grandchildren, Weston Quesenberry and wife Syndee, Brittany Sanchez and husband Benji, Shaelyne Sommers and husband Auston, and Jake Peterson and wife Taylor; great grandchildren, Emma Quesenberry, Ella Quesenberry, Zee Sanchez, Abree Sanchez, Saylor Peterson, and Stetson Peterson.  She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.  The love of her life was Wolf Mitchell.  Also, she will be missed by everyone who knew and loved her.

A family conducted memorial service honoring Brenda's life will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, October 17, 2021 at the Fort Gibson Community Center.
