Bobby Joe "Bob" Herron, 71, of Checotah, Oklahoma, passed away on Monday, August 7, 2023 in Muskogee, Oklahoma.
He was born on March 17, 1952, the son of Buck Leonard and Nellie Oma (Thompson) Herron, in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Bob was owner of Bob's Burgers. He worked as a mechanic at Lane's Tractor Supply and owned Bob's One Stop (Gas Station).
He enjoyed motorcycling, bowling, billards and spending time with his children and grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Barbara Miller.
Bob is survived by his devoted wife, Patricia Herron of the home; children, Kayla (William) Hamby, Kerry Herron and Parker Herron all of Checotah; grandchildren, Sunday Orange, Jonah Marshall, Bryce Marshall, Jason Hamby, Addyson Carter and Kylah Herron; brother, Buck (Pat) Herron of Tulsa; and many other family members and friends.
Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 9, 2023 at Hunn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday at the Hunn Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.
