Bobby Derryl Gordon

   Bobby Derryl Gordon, 54, departed this life July 4th following a tragic automobile crash on Texanna Road.  He was born April 22nd, 1968, in Tahlequah, Oklahoma to Derryl Gordon and Barbara (Phillips) Gordon.

   Bobby grew up in Checotah attending Checotah schools and graduating with the class of 1986.  Following high school, Bobby began working with the Jerry Jefferies Inspection Service inspecting fiber optic cable installation.  He continued this career path for the next 18 years working with a few different inspection companies.  Bobby left the inspection business to spend more time with his family.

   In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, and pitching horseshoes. He was also a good shade-tree mechanic and enjoyed working on all kinds of small engines.  But above everything else, Bobby loved spending time with his family.  He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

   Bobby was preceded in death by his son, Gage and his father, Derryl Gordon.  He is survived by mother, Barbara Gordon of Checotah; his sons, Nicholas Gordon of Stillwater, Oklahoma and Chance Gordon of Checotah; stepson, Michael Key; brother, Roy Gordon of Checotah; and sister, Barbara Jean Garner and husband Jerry of Hickory, Oklahoma.
