Billy Dale Visor

Billy Dale Visor, 85, of Checotah, Oklahoma, passed away May 24, 2025. 

He was born February 12, 1940, in Hinton, Oklahoma, the son of Thomas and Lucille Visor. 

Billy graduated from Hinton High School in 1958 and attended one year at Connors State College. 

On November 14, 1960, Billy married Charlotte Frazier. He worked as a market manager and butcher for 30 plus years. In his free time, Billy enjoyed gardening and yard work. He was a 32nd Degree Mason and a Shriner. He loved visits from his grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife, Charlotte Visor of Checotah; daughters, Kelley Teague and husband, Rob of Checotah and Donnita Park of Eufaula; grandchildren, Cadeyn Teague of Checotah, Derek, Lacey and Tara Park all of Eufaula; Dylan Anglen of Wright, Wyoming, Krystal Bennight of Muskogee, Brett Visor of Burnt Cabin, Oklahoma, Dakota and Makayla Visor both of Braggs, Oklahoma; ten great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; his brother, Paul Visor and wife, Diane of Oklahoma City and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

Billy is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Lucille (Kessler) Visor; son, Darrin Visor; grandson, Tyler Visor; granddaughter, Hunter Teague; brothers, Olen Visor, Lawrence and Archie Dobbs; sisters, Laura Mae (Dobbs) Pope and Virgie (Visor) Jaques and a nephew, Jon Jaques.

A graveside memorial will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, June 2, 2025 at Greenlawn Cemetery in Checotah with Jerry Frazier officiating.  Inurnment will follow.

Honorary Pallbearers will be: Cadeyn Teague, Derek Park, Brett Visor and Dakota Visor.
