Alfred Lee "Buddy" Blank

Obituary

  Alfred Lee "Buddy" Blank, 78, passed away on Sunday, June 12, 2022 at his home in Checotah, Oklahoma.  He was born May 21, 1944, the son of William Eugene and Magleene (Walker) Blank, in White County, Arkansas. Buddy attended Berry Hill schools in Tulsa County.  He worked construction in the early days of his life.  Buddy met Darlene Sneed in 1964 and they were married on May 25, 1966 in Wagoner County, Oklahoma.  This union was blessed with three children. In 1976, Buddy and Darlene bought Sneed Septic Tank Service from his father-in-law.  After his retirement in 1986, the family moved to Checotah.  
            Buddy enjoyed attending auctions and trading anything.  To keep busy, he cut and sold firewood.  He also enjoyed rabbit hunting and fishing.
           Buddy was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Albert Lee Blank and two sisters, Joyce Dean Blank Spears and Doyce Dean Blank.  He is survived by his wife, Darlene Blank; sons, Larry Lee Blank and William Lee Blank; daughter, Carri Lynn Blank Dirks, seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
