Tyson Martin Obituary

On November 18, 1980 a precious baby boy was born to Donna Martin and Leonard Goudeau with the help of a family friend they named him Tyson Lavon.  Tyson got baptized at an early age.  He attended Checotah Public Schools.  Tyson later moved to Savannah, Georgia and made it home for several years.  He married Meredith.  He worked at The Vet and he loved his job but playing semi-pro football was his favorite.  His marriage dissolved after eight years but they continue to be friends.  Tyson was a true OU fan to the heart any sport that had to do with OU Sooners it was his team his favorite words were Boomer Sooner!  Tyson battled with his sickness for years on August 25, 2020 it caught him by surprise.

His love ones that were waiting on him are grandparents, Frank (Bay) and Nellie, Rosie and Fred; three aunts, Barbara, Gwen, and Monica; one brother, Jason, and three cousins, Theus, De’Onte’, and Damion.  The ones left to cherish and carry his memories are three daughters, Erin, Kerri, and Mills; one son, Tre; mother, Donna; his padre’ Ervin; father, Leonard; two sisters, Shavondah (Brandon) and Shellay; four aunts, Wannetta, Rosemary (Rob), Pamela (Deno) and Tammy; four uncles, Joseph (Jackie), Manuel (Julie), June (Carla), and Todd (Angie) and plenty of nieces and nephews.  He was Uncle Tyson to all, cousins that was more like brothers and sisters, great aunts and uncles and a caravan of friends that loved him dearly.

“I’m a Sooner born and Sooner bred and when I die, I’ll be Sooner dead!”
